Tickets to South Pacific

How grateful I am to be a part of "South Pacific's" history. Thank you James Michener, (Pulitzer Prize in 1948 for "Tales of the South Pacific"), Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, Leland Hayward and Joshua Logan. Treasures that fill my heart. How rich am I? Very.

Being interviewed

One year after the 60th Anniversary Celebration of "South Pacific" at Lincoln Center in NYC. The LA opening at the Ahmanson theatre was very joyful and tearful.

With Christina Carrera

A big hug to Christina Carrera, playing the role of Ngana de Becque, which I created on Broadway.

With Roz Lowe

Roz Lowe, who played Dinah in the original company, also attended. Original members were given leis that were flown in from Hawaii. Mahalo.

With Shirley Jones and Marty Ingles

Oscar winner Shirley Jones, another South Pacifican, also starred in Rogers & Hammerstein's "Carousel" & "Oklahoma". Always at her side is devoted husband Marty Ingels.

Christina's understudy Alexis Holt, CJ Palma plays Jerome and awesome SP director, Bartlett Sher.

Rod Gilfry and Mitzi Gaynor

Handsome Rod Gilfry stars as Emile de Becque, the role created on Broadway by Ezio Pinza, and the funniest woman on this planet, Mitzi Gaynor, who starred in the film version of SP as Nellie Forbush, originally created by Mary Martin.

With Carmen Cusack

In this production, sensational Carmen Cusack stars as Nellie.

With Keala Settle

Impressive Keala Settle as Bloody Mary, is even more so when you meet her. She's 30 years younger off stage and a rock 'n roller!

With Bruce Vilanch and my sister Lisa

Bruce Vilanch played Keala's mom in "Hairspray"! My sister Lisa enjoying Bruce's fantastic humor.

With Anderson Davis and Sumie Maeda

"Younger than Springtime" lovers, Lt. Cable and Liat, played by hunky Anderson Davis and gorgeous Sumie Maeda.

Matthew, Anderson, Mitzi and John Kerr

East and two West coast Lt. Cables. I swooned when I saw Matthew Morrison as Lt. Cable last year at Lincoln Center and I definitely look forward to watching him in "Glee". Anderson, Mitzi and SP's film version of Lt. Cable, co-star John Kerr.

Rande and my sister Lisa

Rande and my sis have a lot to smile about since it was "Some Enchanted Evening".

Doug and Dorothy

My best buddies, Oscar/Emmy winner Doug Drexler and his kitchen goddess wife, Dorothy Duder, who has too many show biz credits to mention.

With Jimmy and Keala

Keala made a funny about my Jimmy behind me. Shhh.
